Tech Nation Rising Stars 5.0
Oomph EV are celebrating for being recognised as one of the East of England’s Rising Stars in innovative tech. The team are looking forward to the National event in early 2023 where the top 20 finalists will have the opportunity to pitch to a curated audience of investors, corporates and key players. In the meantime, we look forward to the opportunities and knowledge we can gain over the coming months.

Raising the Floor
Over 40% of the Rising Star East of England entrants were headed up by female founders. An amazing figure and one which made for a refreshing change. It is clear that female founders and women in tech are not only breaking through the ceiling, but they are also raising the floor. Let’s change the woefully low investment figures for female entrepreneurism and get it beyond the 14% seen in 2022. A positive uplift from the 7% seen over the previous 10 years but a long way to go to level the field.
